From immemorial times, humanity has known that the changing length of an object shade indicates the time of the day and this shade is shorter towards midday and extended towards the dusk. Without a doubt the first rudimentary sun dial simply consisted of a stake nailed in the ground.
The sundial we design is denominated "faltriquera", dated from XVI century, whose original ones are showed in museums as the one of Nuremberg and the Museum Correr in Venice.
They are manufactured in wood and brass and have a booklet with the Sundial history and method of use. Its interior is an illustration of the map of Europe,
